I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at the Detroit Wing Company on Cedar. I came in simply trying to get an order corrected, something that most restaurants handle quickly and professionally. Instead, I was met with an incredibly rude attitude from King from the moment we started talking. He constantly talked over me instead of listening to what I was saying and acted like helping a customer was a burden. Rather than taking ownership of the issue and remaking the order, he seemed more interested in arguing than resolving the problem. The entire interaction wasted my time, my gas, and ultimately cost me money because I was delayed getting back to work. As someone who drives for deliveries, every minute matters, and this situation unnecessarily held me up. On top of the poor customer service, the restaurant did not leave a good impression. It appeared unclean and poorly maintained during my visit, which only added to my frustration. The overall professionalism was severely lacking, and the experience felt chaotic from start to finish. I’ve had restaurants make mistakes before, but what separates a good business from a bad one is how they handle them.

While delivering for doordash I had encountered an issue, and at 1:30 right before they closed a woman at the counter who I did not get the name of was incredibly kind and understanding. She really deserves a raise for being so good to customers.

First time, and will try again, the chicken was cooked a lil extra well, mac and cheese was not to my liking but to each is own. Next time I may do fries but the service was nice and pleasant, the blue raspberry lemonade was probably my favorite. The chicken favors I tried were buffalo parmesan and habanero ranch. Both tasted good.

It was my first time trying Detroit Wing Company after usually going to Buffalo Wild Wings. I ordered bone-in wings, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The chicken was overall very dry, and the drum pieces were extremely hard—almost impossible to chew. It felt like they were either overcooked or had been sitting out for too long. The flats were somewhat better, but still not great. Not sure if I would come back again.

I LOVE going to the South Cedar Detroit Wing Company. Every time I go into to the store I'm usually greeted by Carol and she is always so nice, has good suggestions on items to try, and makes my food fresh and presentable (presentation is everything). All the staff is always so friendly and nice and I appreciate their wonderful customer service.
